Giving Kids A Chance To Feel Like An Aerial Cinematographer!

Gotham has a wonderful relationship with the program, Horizons at the Jersey Shore. Horizons is an enrichment program designed to promote the potential of a diverse population of children from low-income families. Guided by a professional faculty in a nurturing environment, the program emphasizes academics, the arts, intramural sports, swimming, and social growth.

We were honored to be able to put together a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience a helicopter demo day. We partnered with Atlantic Health Systems, Air 1, helicopter (piloted by our own Steve Masi) to perform some air to air and air to ground sequences as well as land and share the entire project with the kids of Horizons. They were obviously enthralled with the helicopters but also took great interest in the inner details of an EMS helicopter as well as the Shotover gimbal system and technology of our camera ship. It was a very special day and hopefully, we were able to spark the interest of some future pilots, nurses, and camera operators!
